Our long distance walk for 2005 was the main Macmillan Way runs 290 miles coast to coast path from Boston in the Lincolnshire across fenland and limestone to Abbotsbury in the Dorset. (Map reproduced with kind permission of The Macmillan Way Association) It is called the Macmillan Way because it was devised to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Relief, a charitable organisation which helps people living with cancer by providing them with expert care and practical and emotional support. It took us 21 days from Monday 9th May through to Sunday 29th May.
The first week we walked from Boston to Little Brington in Northamptonshire.
Brington to Sherston in Wiltshire.
The final week took us through to Abbotsbury in Dorset
Enjoy.
