The Kruger Park is 380 km long and on average about 60 km wide - approximately 20,000 sq km of pristine Africa.  Only about 3% of the area is viewable from the roads and so there are more animals hidden and not viewable.  We were fortunate to see the 'Big 5', although it was not possible to photograph the leopard we saw in Kruger.
