Thank you Our long distance walk for 2004 consisted of the 93 mile West Highland Way and the 73 Great Glen Way, which we did from 25th May through to 6th June. The Great Glen Way runs 73 miles from Fort William to Inverness alongside the Caledonian Canal and Loch Ness, and was opened on 30 April 2002 by HRH Prince Andrew. Our first two days took us to past Loch Lochy to Laggan alongside the The next day took us to Fort Augustus, at the foot of Loch Ness, past The final three days was alongside and above to end at the Castle in Inverness.
