Our long distance walk for 2003 was the 190 mile Coast to Coast walk devised by A Wainwright, which we did from 11th May through to 26th May.

Our first 5 days took us through the

          Lake District                  Ennerdale Water

 

Then we passed into the Pennines and followed the

          River Swale                   The River Swale near Muker

The 'middle' section flat section included a day and a half road walking along the flat before finishing through the

          North York Moors              Our welcome to Glaisdale and the last leg!
